Globe's top 100 New England books

The Globe has printed “the top books about New England or written by local authors.” I still haven’t read No. 1, Moby Dick. But I’ve read many of the others. My favorites – E.B. White, Common Ground by Anthony Lucas, Kerouac, Harr’s Civil Action, Lightman’s Einstein’s Dreams and Kaysen’s Girl Interrupted. Some of the list I thought forgettable. I just read Hawthorne’s House of Seven Gables and it’s not on there.

Anyway, take a look.
