Dan Kennedy is a media critic and my colleague at Northeastern. His blog, Media Nation, is worth checking out.

For those of you who blog, he recently did his first video on fair use and blogging. If you blog and don’t know about copyright laws, you had better learn about them.

The first interview drones on but the second one is really helpful.

He nurtured a type of writing that was called "New Journalism" at the time, Tom Wolfe (before he wrote fiction, Gay Talese, Nora Ephron (before she wrote movie scripts) and Gloria Steinem (before she became a feminist icon.) Here, some writers talk about his influence...
